Sinopsys:

Meet Neslihan! A perfect cook, an expert on Turkish cuisine, strictly loyal to her husband, an impeccable house wife ...and a serial killer.

Her husband is a head manager in a bank, they live in a eerily quiet small city. A timid, lovable woman, Neslihan spends her day with house work, only worrying about what to cook for dinner.

She dreams herself as a celebrity chef on TV program titled “The Secrets of Turkish Cuisine”, giving the audience dreamlike Turkish recipes. Every recipe she talks about is related to one person in her life. Her husband, his mistress, his best friends... She had killed them one by one through a series of murders that are all related to a special recipe.

This is a black comedy, just like life itself. The comedy tone is always dominant through the film, even in murder scenes. A “foodie” film garnished with beautiful cooking scenes, giving away the “secrets” of Turkish cuisine, “Secrets of Cuisine” is also a serious attempt to look closely at the lives of oppressed house slaves that we all know very well, those silenced housewives.
